Instructional Coach Andrea Valdez

Hello, my name is Andrea Valdez and I am so happy to be working here at Ankeny Schools.  I graduated from Iowa State University in 2003 with a degree in Elementary Education and Art.  In 2009, I received my masters in Elementary Leadership from Baker University.  Previously, I taught for 3 years in Houston, TX and another 5 years in Kansas City, KS.  I have been in Ankeny schools since 2009.  I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade and now am working with K-5 teachers and students as an Instructional Coach.
