At this defining moment in our history, we, as teachers and parents, face the herculean task of preparing our children to compete and succeed in an increasingly globalized, frenetic, and technology-driven economy. What we do today will echo for generations to come. Part of my role as an educator is to help develop hard-working and creative critical thinkers who are culturally aware and can function in collaborative environments all the while honoring social and civic responsibilities. I embrace that challenge. Prior to teaching I spent over 15 years in public policy and governmental affairs, political campaigns, and in the Jackson County prosecuting attorney’s office. When I’m away from work, I enjoy rock climbing, fishing, snowboarding, coaching baseball, and hiking. I look forward to working with you and if I can ever be of assistance, please let me know.
