5th Grade Ashley Jacobs

Hi there! I’m Mrs. Jacobs and I started teaching in Ankeny in 2023. Prior to Ankeny, I taught for 3 years in Baxter, IA. I grew up in Ankeny myself, attending Southeast Elementary and graduating from Ankeny Centennial High School. I then went to DMACC for my associates degree. I went to Iowa State University after DMACC for my bachelors in Elementary Education with endorsements in English Language Arts and Reading.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Brandon, and our son, Beau. We enjoy going to the park, Blank Park Zoo, and playing outside. I also enjoy baking, shopping, and drinking iced coffee!
