Special Education Becky Robinson

Hi, my name is Becky Robinson, and I am a special education teacher at Westwood Elementary.  I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education.  Later I received my Master’s of Education degree in  Special Education from Iowa State University.  My teaching career began in Des Moines, where I taught special education for nine years.   In 2006, I began teaching special education in Ankeny.

I believe that all students can learn and I love finding out the unique ways that work best for each student.  In my classroom, I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment where my students feel welcome.  Seeing the excitement on my students’ faces when they learn something new is my biggest reward!

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, and biking.
