1st Grade Brandi Tegrootenhuis

Hello! My name is Brandi Vondrak. I am a kindergarten teacher at Northeast Elementary School. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, with a minor in Literacy Education. I completed my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Northwestern College in 2021.  I have been teaching  in Ankeny since 2020. Prior to teaching kindergarten, I have taught preschool, first grade, and second grade. I live in Beaverdale with my husband (Lee), and our dogs (Sage & Walter).  In my free time I like to golf, ride bike, play board/card games, and read. I am looking forward to a great school year!
