Art Candice Carr

My name is Candice Carr.  I am the Art Specialist at Heritage Elementary School.  I have been teaching Art at various levels since 1999.  Prior to teaching Art I worked as a Graphic Designer for Game and Fish magazine in Atlanta.  I went to  The University of West Georgia to get a BFA in Graphic Design and minor in Sculpture.  I then went to Georgia State University to earn my teaching certification credentials.  After starting to teach in Georgia I attended University of North Georgia to earn my Master of Art Education degree.  My husband and I moved to Iowa in 2014 for his job.  We have 3 children and 2 dogs and we love living in Ankeny!
