Physical Education/Health Christopher Amundson

Chris Amundson has been teaching in the Ankeny school district since 2021. He began his career in West Des Moines in 2004 and then continued teaching at Ankeny Centennial in 2021. Prior to teaching, he graduated from Luther College with a Bachelor of Art degree in Physical Education and Biology while competing on their Swimming and Diving team. He also has earned a Master of Science in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from the Emporia State University. He is also the diving coach for the Ankeny Girls Swimming and Diving Team

In his free time, Mr. Amundson enjoys traveling with his family, playing soccer and reading.
