Mathmatics Danielle Whitmire

Welcome to Parkview,

My name is Danielle Whitmire and I will be teaching 7th grade math. I graduated from Drake University in December 2007. I started teaching in Des Moines Public Schools in January of 2008 and stayed there for the next 11 ½ years. The majority of my time was spent in a middle school teaching 6th grade. I then moved to a private school for 3 years teaching 7th and 8th grade math and Algebra. I’m have been teaching 7th grade math at Parkview since the 2022-2023 school year.

I was born and raised in Minnesota. I moved to Iowa to work and continue my education at Drake. I met my husband and we were married in 2007. My husband and I are both teachers which makes our summers fun. We have 4 beautiful boys, a set of twins, a two singletons. We enjoy traveling, family time, and going to Kansas City Chief Games.
