Counselor Derek Mccready

Hello! My name is Derek McCready. I am a professional school counselor at Prairie Ridge Middle School. I am proud to be a part of a team that puts students and learning first. My passion is to provide the best academic, social, and emotional experience for your student.

I received a Bachelor of Arts from Luther College in psychology and a Master of Arts from Loras College in school counseling. I began working for Ankeny Community School District in August 2023.
