AELP Erin Bouda

My name is Erin Bouda and I am the AELP (Ankeny Extended Learning Program) teacher at Northeast and Northwest Elementary. I am married to my husband, TJ and have a son, Jack, who is a 5th grader and a daughter, Kate, who is a 2nd grader.  This is my 18th year of teaching.  When I graduated from Iowa State, I started teaching 6th grade at Ballard East in Huxley for two years.  I then moved to Atlanta, GA and taught 5th grade for 6 years. While I was there, I got my Master’s Degree from Walden University.  We moved back to Iowa in 2013 and I received my TAG (Talented and Gifted) endorsement from Morningside College.  I have been an AELP teacher now for 10 years. In my free time, I love to watch the Cyclones and Packers play, travel and spend time with my family and friends.  I am excited for a wonderful school year with my students!
