Social Science Jen Gebhart

Welcome to 6th Grade World Regions and Cultures! My name is Jen Gebhart and I have taught for Ankeny Schools since 2003. I have a BA from UNI with a double major in Elementary Education/Early Childhood and a Master’s Degree from ISU with a Reading and  Middle School Endorsement.  I have taught 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 7th Grade Literacy. I spent the last 5 years as a District TLC teacher and I had the opportunity to teach PK-12th grade which allowed me to teach in every school in the district. It was an incredible experience and I met so many amazing students and teachers along the way. I am excited to have my own classroom again as I really missed building relationships with students on a daily basis.

I have 2 boys, 21 and 18. I also have a shihtzu named Buddy. In my free time, I love to spend time with family, friends, exercise, and travel.
