5th Grade Jessie Purviance

My name is Jessie Purviance and I’ve been teaching 5th grade at Northeast for 10 years.  I live in Ankeny with my husband and two children.  My son Levi is a senior at Centennial and my daughter Ava is a sophomore at Centennial.  We also have two cats and a dog.

I LOVE reading!  I spend a lot of my free time reading, scrapbooking, using my Cricut machine to create different crafts, golfing, and spending time outside.  My family and I have a camper and we love to spend time camping at different campgrounds around Iowa.  I also enjoy spending time at all of my children’s sporting events.

I’m very passionate about teaching and doing everything I can to help students.
