Nurse Julie Maile

My name is Julie Maile and I live in Ankeny with my husband and four daughters.  I graduated in 2003 from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  After working for many years in a hospital setting, I am so happy to be practicing community health nursing in the town where I live.  I love all of the opportunities I get to teach students and families about the ways they can live a healthy and safe life.   One of my favorite quotes about school nursing is, “Students must be healthy to be educated, and educated to be healthy.”  If there are any ways I can support your student or your family, don’t hesitate to e-mail me at julie.maile@ankenyschools.org, or call at 515-965-9710.
