Counselor Katelyn Neil

Hello! I am one of the school counselors at Northeast. As a school counselor, I teach Guidance, meet with students for small group and/or individual learning, and collaborate with parents and teachers to help all students succeed.

In Guidance we learn and talk a lot about feelings, our brain, and how to respond to our feelings. We also learn about how to be our best students, how to be good friends, and how to resolve conflicts.

I received my B.S. from the University of Northern Iowa and my M.S. from the University of Iowa. When I am not at school, you can find me hanging out with my husband, Brandon, sons, Truman and Graham, and two dogs, Tiberius and Bones.
