Preschool Teacher Katie Olson

Hi! My name is Katie Olson and I am a preschool teacher at Terrace Early Learning Center. I love teaching preschool and working with students with special needs and find it extremely rewarding! I am always looking at my students as individuals and providing them a safe and caring environment at school.

I received my bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University in 2015. I completed my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2020 with Northwestern College.  I have experience teaching kindergarten, first grade, and being a preschool consultant for Green Hills AEA. I have been teaching preschool since 2020. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy crafting and spending time with friends and family. I also like to be active, running, and love being outdoors.
