Language Arts Kelcy Lofgren

My name is Kelcy Lofgren, and I am a Language Arts Interventionist for students in grades ten through twelve at Centennial High School. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 1993, and completed my master’s degree in Communication Education from the University of Northern Iowa in 1999. In 2004, I became a National Board Certified Teacher. The best part of my job is working with students; it is a privilege to watch students mature from their sophomore to senior year. My goal is to help students recognize their own potential as they develop their reading and writing skills. When I’m not at school, I enjoy reading, being outside, kickboxing, and crafts. I have two older children, and my husband Warren teaches math at Centennial. Go Jaguars!
