History Kendra Richardson

I am excited to begin a new school year at Ankeny High School! I have had the privilege of teaching at AHS since 2017. I started my teaching career in 2014 at Pekin High School in Packwood, IA, where I taught for three years. I graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in History and Theatre Arts. I am an alumnus of Ankeny High School, and am proud that I now get to work with some of the teachers who helped me realize my dream of becoming an educator. 

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my husband, Joe, and our three sons.
