Physical Education/Health Laura Reis

Welcome!

I am Ms. Reis and I teach Physical Education and Recreational Health at Ankeny High School.  I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Kinesiology in 2007.  I earned a Master’s degree in Education in 2012 and a Master’s degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation in 2016.  I have spent my entire teaching career in Ankeny schools.  I have taught at both AHS and Parkview.  I also teach courses at Grandview University and Drake University .  I live in Ankeny with my husband, Jon, and our three children:  Hunter, Kaia, and Elle.  We love spending time in nature hiking, fishing, and camping.  My goal is to visit all of the National Parks!
