1st Grade Lisa Kephart

My name is Mrs. Kephart and I will be your child’s first grade teacher this year. I spent my first ten years teaching K-1^st multiage in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  I received my Masters Degree from MaryCrest University and have a specialization in reading.  In the fall of 2006, I was honored to join the staff at Crocker Elementary. 

I grew up in Ankeny and graduated from Ankeny High School in 1990.  I have a wonderful husband, Chris, and three beautiful daughters: Kylie, Caitlin, and Reagan. After living away from where I grew up for so long, it was wonderful returning to my “roots”.

I have also been a dance instructor since I started college…classical ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and pointe.  I continue this passion by teaching at Nicole’s School of Dance here in town.
