Science Lucas Chamberland

Hello, my name is Lucas Chamberland! This year, I’ll be teaching Enriched Physics and AP Physics C.

I received my undergraduate degree in physics (and music) from Grinnell College, then went to the University of Iowa to get a Masters in the Art of Teaching (in science). I have multiple years of experience teaching physics and environmental science through being a TA, but this is my first year as a full teacher!

A brief synopsis of my “teacher philosophy”: students and exploration come first. I will do what I can to support any learners, which also means preparing them for after high school. Lecture isn’t going to do that, experimenting will!
