Digital Learning Teacher Megan Walsh

Hello!  My name is Megan Walsh and I have been a Digital Learning Teacher at Rock Creek since 2015. I began teaching 5th grade at Woodward Granger in 2007 and moved to Ankeny Schools to teach 5th grade at NE Elementary in 2008.  I am a 2007 graduate from Loras College (Dubuque, Iowa) where I majored in Elementary Education and earned my reading and math endorsements. I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education with my Reading Specialist endorsement from Viterbo University in 2012.  In 2024, I earned my Computer Science Endorsement from Northwestern College. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children, being active, watching our children in activities and sports, playing with our dog, as well as being outside.  I look forward to working with your child/children throughout their elementary years at Rock Creek.
