Business Education Michael Mertz

Hello, my name is Michael Mertz.  I am a proud alum of Wartburg College (2009 Business Administration Marketing) and Drake University (2012 MAT).  I am currently teaching full time at the Orbis building as a school to work coordinator and a project mentor in the project based experience program.  I am passionate about helping students discover new interests and connecting them with the professional community in and around Ankeny.  When not at school I enjoy time with family and friends, fishing, being outdoors, watching sports, coaching, reading, traveling, and cooking.  My wife, Kara, also teaches for ASCD.  We have three daughters.
