Language Arts Nancy Prom-Pierson

Hello! I am honored to be teaching at Ankeny Centennial High School. I am a 1991 graduate of Minot State University in North Dakota, where I earned my B.S.Ed. I earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2005. Additionally, I earned a Master’s Certificate in English in 2015. In 1992, I accepted my first teaching position in Waynesville, Missouri, and I have taught in a variety of places ever since: The Netherlands, Hawaii, Virginia, and Iowa. My favorite activities include reading, boating, and spending time with my family: Sydney & Ryan (my daughter & son-in-law), Kendra and Joe (my daughter and son-in-law), and my grandsons, James, Arthur, & Philip. 

I will share all class handouts and assignments on Canvas. Students will complete and turn in all final assignments on Canvas, as well.
