K-5 Physical Education Teacher

Welcome! I am Mr. Paden Ridgeway, physical education teacher at Northwest Elementary. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Northern Iowa in 2018. I started my teaching career at Bondurant-Farrar in 2018. I have been fortunate to start in the Ankeny School District in 2020. I also coach freshman football for the Centennial Jags!
I enjoy spending my free time being active and enjoying the outdoors.
I love spreading my enthusiasm for learning and being active. It always impresses me how students get hooked on learning when the learning itself is fun. I am always inspired by students who continually work hard. Through their effort there is nothing they can’t achieve.
