5th Grade Sammie Featherstone

My name is Samantha Featherstone and I am one of the 5th-grade teachers at Heritage.  I received my BA in elementary education from Eastern Illinois University before I moved to Tennessee. I started my teaching career in Clarksville, TN before moving to Iowa. I taught in Waukee for one year and then started teaching in Ankeny in 2019. I am in the process of earning my master’s. When not teaching, I love being outdoors with my husband and daughters, spending time with family in Illinois, and horseback riding.
