Mathematics Sara Lamb

The 2023-2024 school year will be my first year with the Ankeny Community School District and Northview Middle School. This is my 12th year in education and I will be teaching Geometry. I have formerly taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and was an Instructional Coach. Being in the classroom and working with students directly is my passion which is what drove me to return to the classroom. I recognize that middle school math is not the subject students are most fond of, but my hope is by gamifying the curriculum we are able to make the classwork relevant and engaging for the students so they can interact with math in a different manner. I am an expert in differentiation and providing small group instruction, when needed, to ensure all students are successful. I am eager to build positive and productive relationships with all Northview families.
