Digital Learning Teacher Sara Sparks

My name is Sara Sparks and I am the Digital Learning Teachers at Heritage Elementary School. I became a part of the Ankeny Community School District in 2020. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Iowa State University in 2005.  I am certified to teach birth-3rd grade and have my K-8 reading endorsement. I received my Masters of Education from Viterbo University in 2011. In the summer of 2023, I completed my School Library Masters. Previously, I have taught 2nd, 1st, Kindergarten, Early Kindergarten and Early Childhood Special Education.

I am excited to be a part of Heritage Elementary School community and to teacher your student how to think, create, share and grow through literacy and digital tools.
