Social Science Scott Mortensen

Hello, my name is Scott Mortensen and I am a 7th grade Contemporary Global Studies teacher here at Prairie Ridge.  I received my bachelors of science in history and political science with an emphasis on secondary education at Iowa State University, go Cyclones!  I began teaching in 2019 and have been working with the Ankeny district since 2023.  I am very passionate about social studies and love to share that passion with my students daily!  If you ever have any questions or are seeking clarification please do not hesitate to reach out and I can assist you or answer a question.
