Social Science Sean Cano

Hello! My name is Sean Cano, allow me introduce myself! This is my second year at Ankeny High School where I primarily teach United States History, economics and AP microeconomics. As an educator, my goal will be to help your student learn to critically think in the 21st century and develop into a civically active and responsible citizen. I graduated from the University of North Dakota and from Purdue University. I have spent the last 2 years teaching within the Iowa Department of Corrections after previously teaching in Peoria, Illinois for 3 years. I enjoy spending time with my wife and 5 year old son, watching really any sport you could imagine, and watching anime. I look forward to getting to know you all and having a great year.
