Social Studies Sean Cano

Hello! My name is Sean Cano, allow me introduce myself! This is my first year here at Ankeny High School where I primarily teach United States History and American Government. As an educator, my goal will be to help your student learn to critically think in the 21st century and develop into a civically active and responsible citizen. I graduated from the University of North Dakota and from Purdue University. I have spent the last 2 years teaching within the Iowa Department of Corrections after previously teaching in Peoria, Illinois for 3 years. I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 year old son, watching really any sport you could imagine, and watching anime. I look forward to getting to know you all and having a great year.
