1st Grade Staci Long

My name is Staci Long.  I am a first grade teacher at Rock Creek Elementary.

I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1999 with a double major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education along with my Reading Endorsement.  I later attended Viterbo University and received my Masters Degree in Elementary Education.  I started my career in Waukee, where I taught first grade for two years.  I then came to Ankeny and have been in the district ever since.  All of my years of teaching have been in Kindergarten-Second Grade.

I enjoy teaching some of our youngest learners in the district.  I love to support children as they discover and explore new ideas in a safe, welcoming classroom environment.
