3rd Grade Tara Royster

Hi!!  My name is Tara Royster and I am thrilled to be your child’s 3rd grade teacher!!  This will be my 24th year teaching both 2nd and 3rd grades.  I have taught for 4 years in a small town in eastern Iowa and for the last 19 years in Ankeny.

I received my bachelors degree in elementary education with my reading endorsement in 2000 and my masters degree from Viterbo University in 2007.  I have also earned my reading specialist endorsement through Viterbo University.

I am married to Tony and we have 3 children: Sophia who is a sophomore at Ankeny Centennial High School and Vivian and Teddy who are 3rd graders here at Rock Creek.  We love to watch movies, play board games and play with our Teddy Bear puppy, Lola.

In my free time, I enjoy watching my kids in their activities, going for walks and reading.
