4th Grade Tera Severseike

Hello. My name is Mrs. Severseike.  I teach fourth grade at Northeast Elementary.  I have been teaching in Ankeny since 1996. I have received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central College where I also earned my Reading and Coaching Endorsements.  I next graduated from Viterbo University where I earned my Master’s Degree in Education and received my National Board Certification in the area of Literacy:  Early and Middle Childhood Education. Our family is very involved in education.  My husband teaches Global Studies to 9^th graders at Northview Middle School and coaches football for the Ankeny Centennial Jaguars.  We are blessed to be the parents of our two children, Garret and Morgan. We love to spend time at our family cabin in Minnesota and travel to other places in our world when able to. I believe that teaching is the most amazing profession and I am so honored to continue to be a part of many students’ educational journeys.
