Family and Consumer Science Terra Barlow

My name is Terra Barlow and I teach Child Development, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Parenthood, and Relationships in Reality at Ankeny High School.  I also teach Child Development at Southview Middle School. I received my undergraduate in 2006 from Iowa State University in Child, Adult, and Family Services and my Masters of Art in Teaching with endorsement in FACS from Morningside University in the Spring of 2024.

My husband and I moved to Ankeny after we got married in 2006 and we’ve never left! We have a son and daughter who both attend school in Ankeny. In my free time I love doing anything crafty and creative. As a family we enjoy boating, spending time at Lake of the Ozarks, and cheering on the Cyclones!
