Board Recognitions 11.16.21

On Tuesday, the Ankeny Board of Education recognized five individuals for recent outstanding achievements.

Students Lauren Rolling and Elizabeth Clark were recognized for being chosen as a runners up in the 2021 Paul Ingle: Glory of the Senses Essay Contest. Staff members Kim Moyle and Jenny Wirtz were recognized for inspiring students to enter the essay contest and going above and beyond to support their work throughout the year.

Teacher Jodi Larson was recognized for her leadership and advocacy in the area of special education, which resulted in Centennial receiving the “Unified Champion National Banner Recognition” award and being ranked in ESPN’s Top 25 Honor Roll for Unified Champion Schools.
