ISPRA Communications Awards

Ispra communications awards

Each spring, the Iowa School Public Relations Association holds an annual communications awards ceremony that offers an opportunity for members to enter their work in the Communications Contest. ISPRA then honors the outstanding work of its members at a special ceremony during the annual spring conference.

Submissions are scored based on the following: first place received the Blue & Gold Award, second place received the Award of Excellence, and third place received the Award of Merit. This year the Ankeny Community School District Communications Department won a Blue & Gold Award as best in the state in the Communication Plan category for our Ready, Set, Enroll project along with three Awards of Excellence mentioned below.

School districts throughout Iowa submitted a total of 127 entries in various categories with school communications professionals from out of state chapters judging entries based on numerous criteria including design/appearance, clarity/focus, quality in writing, overall effect, and evaluation.

The Ankeny School Communications Department would like to thank our families, staff, school board, educators and our community for support of our students as we share the outstanding work taking place in our district!

Below is how Ankeny performed this year in all submitted categories along with links to those projects.
