Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge

Last week, 39 students from both AHS and CHS participated in Junior Achievement’s Stock Market Challenge, hosted at John Deere Financial.

The students participated in activities including an investment hour where a panel of financial professionals spoke about the basics of investing. They also participated in a stock market simulation where students grouped together and managed a portfolio of investments over a 60-day period.

At the end of the stock market simulation, the top 3 teams were awarded, and one of Ankeny’s teams got 2nd place!
