HS Principals receive DMACC appreciation award

Centennial High School Principal, Dr. Jill Urich and Ankeny High School Principal, Dr. DJ Johnson accepted an appreciation award from DMACC for the partnership of the College Career Transition Counselor (CCTC). In addition to the postsecondary specialist that joined the team this summer, we welcomed our CCTC, Mike Seufert. Mike works with students at the high schools to assist them and their families with the process of transitioning from high school to college and/or career. The CCTC also takes students on career exploration trips, helps with college applications and the FAFSA. We are excited to have Mr. Seufert on the ACSD team and the forward trajectory of our students postsecondary education.
