Become a Volunteer with Ankeny Schools

One of our 5th-grade teachers needed volunteers to help review books with students. Not only did a family friend step up, but two more amazing community members joined in too!
Our literacy teacher has two incredible regular volunteers who dedicate their time each week to help students improve their reading and literacy skills.
Our library thrives thanks to a dedicated volunteer who is also the mother of one of our special education teachers! She sorts and organizes books and even treats our staff to delicious homemade baked goods.
