Today is the day we celebrate Ankeny Community School District’s School Lunch Heroes! Between preparing healthy food, adhering to strict nutrition standards, navigating student food allergies, and offering service with a smile, Ankeny Community School District nutrition professionals have a lot on their plate.

Without our School Lunch Heroes, we wouldn’t be able to nourish and feed our students. Without that food and nourishment, students wouldn’t be able to learn, grow, play, or be their best.
