2024 Summer Adventures Camp

February 8, 2024 – Summer Camp Registration Waitlist is Closed

At this time, Summer Adventures Camp enrollment and waitlist enrollment has reached capacity and is closed.  The B/ASP team is working diligently to determine if additional students can be moved from the waitlist to active enrollment.  Depending on the number of students that can be moved, the waitlist may be opened again.  If this occurs, information will be posted on the B/ASP website.

The ability for the Before & After School Program team to serve more students is dependent upon the ability to hire qualified employees.  Summer Adventures Camp positions are currently posted on the district website, and accepting applications, here.  Please share these summer employment opportunities with your contact groups and social media platforms to help with our recruitment efforts!

Registration begins:
 ~ February 1st for current B/ASP students at 6:30 a.m.
~ Open registration begins February 8th through May 15th (or until enrollment is full)

2024 Summer Camp Field Trip Calendar ~ In the works!

  • Dates: June 3 through August 16, 2024.
  • Who can register: All students currently in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
  • Time: 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Cost: $170.00 per week registered, Non-Ankeny residents $190.00 (does NOT include field trip fees, if scheduled)
  • Deposit required (non-refundable/non-transferable): $45.00 ($15.00 waitlist) per week registered, per student. This holds your student’s spot AND applies towards $170.00 week’s tuition.
  • Locations: Northeast and Crocker (register to one OR the other. Please do NOT register for both locations).
  • Waitlist option will be active. What does this mean? Once registration opens, we begin to calculate all enrollment numbers for each week. When space allows, we begin to enroll students from the waitlist into open weeks in order completed.
  • All registrations are date & time stamped once complete.
  • Waitlist process: Register under the SAC WAITLIST CLASS  including $15.00 non-refundable deposit (this deposit goes toward tuition if enrolled). Once space allows, B/ASP will reach out for open week(s), in order received. Parent/guardian will have 24 hours to accept before B/ASP moves to the next student on the waitlist.

Parents are strongly encouraged to use a non-mobile device to register. Some parents have communicated difficulty registering on a “work” computer due to their company’s security settings. The district cannot help with this; please plan accordingly.
