Getting Ready for an Exciting New School Year at Terrace Learning Center!

We had the chance to visit Terrace Learning Center and see our preschool teachers in action as they prepare for the new school year! From decorating classrooms and organizing supplies to labeling folders and even filling up bubble machines, there’s a lot of excitement in the air.

Ms. Gellings shared her enthusiasm, saying, ‘I love the preschool year—it’s so exciting to be their first teacher and witness the incredible growth from the start to the end of the school year.’

Ms. Verhoef, now in her 6th year of teaching preschool, is especially looking forward to meeting her new students. She mentioned how special it is to do home visits, where she gets to meet the kids in their own space. ‘It really helps with the transition—seeing a familiar face on the first day makes all the difference,’ she said. ‘Once they settle into their routine, the learning and excitement truly begin!’

As we gear up for the first day of K-12 this Friday, August 23, and preschool starting Tuesday, September 3, we’re ready to make this the best year yet!
